Ham's F-12K medium is a Kaighn's modification of Ham's F-12 nutrient mixture. It increases the concentration of amino acids and pyruvate, reduces the amount of glucose, and modifies the composition and content of salts (Konigsbergs) on the basis of Ham's F-12. Ham's F-12K medium was originally designed for the culture of primary human hepatocytes and differentiated rat and chicken cells.
This product contains a variety of ingredients such as amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, etc. required for various types of cell culture; but it does not contain proteins, lipids or any growth factors; therefore, this product must be used with serum or serum-free supplements.
Precautions
1. This product is sterilized by filtration. When using it, pay attention to aseptic operation to avoid contamination;
2. To maintain the best use of this product, do not perform freeze-thaw treatment;
3. This product is only used for scientific research or further research, not for diagnosis and treatment.
