Product Overview
GENOM Bio MSC serum-free expansion kit provides two product forms to meet different experimental needs:
01-MSC serum-free expansion kit
Two-component complete culture medium, suitable for the culture of MSC primary and passage cells from umbilical cord, fat, dental pulp, etc.
02-MSC serum-free basal culture medium
The optimized basal culture medium needs to be used with other brands of platelet lysate or fetal bovine serum for higher efficiency
Product advantages
High efficiency: The optimized serum-free culture medium, Xeno-free, has higher culture efficiency;
Universality: It is suitable for a variety of MSC sources such as umbilical cord, fat, dental pulp, etc., and is compatible with primary culture and long-term passage culture;
Safety: Serum-free, no xenogeneic components, the raw materials have passed strict testing, the composition is clear, safe and stable.
Cell morphology
Typical MSC fiber-like morphology, compared with hPL and fetal bovine serum, there are fewer polygonal cells and better cell activity.
Comparison of cell expansion products
Umbilical cord MSC marker detection
Umbilical cord MSCs were cultured to the 10th generation and marker analysis was performed, which was consistent with the biological characteristics of MSCs:
The positive rates of CD90, CD105, and CD73 were more than 95%; the positive rates of CD45, CD19, CD34, CD11b, and HLA-DR were less than 2%
MSC differentiation assay
Umbilical cord MSC differentiation into adipocytes test
On the 14th day of cell differentiation, it was observed that MSC had differentiated into adipocytes, and obvious fat droplets were visible in the cells after oil red staining
Adipose MSC differentiation into adipocytes test
On the 14th day of cell differentiation, it was observed that almost all MSCs had differentiated into adipocytes, and obvious fat droplets were visible in the cells after oil red staining
Umbilical cord MSC osteoblast differentiation test
On the 14th day of cell differentiation, it was observed that most MSCs had differentiated into osteoblasts, and alizarin red staining showed that calcium deposition occupied part of the well bottom
Adipose MSC osteoblast differentiation test
On the 21st day of cell differentiation, it was observed that most MSCs had differentiated into osteocytes, and alizarin red staining showed that calcium deposition occupied most of the bottom of the wells
Umbilical cord MSC chondrocyte differentiation test
On the 22nd day of cell differentiation, MSC was observed to have differentiated into chondrocytes, and obvious blue particles were visible in the cells after Alcian blue staining
Adipose MSC chondrocyte differentiation test
On the 22nd day of cell differentiation, MSC was observed to have differentiated into chondrocytes. After staining with Alcian blue, blue particles were clearly visible in the cells
