L-Glutamine is a necessary nutrient element in cell culture. It is not only a source of energy for cells, but also an important substance involved in protein synthesis and nucleic acid metabolism. Lack of L-Glutamine can lead to poor cell growth or even death. L-Glutamine is unstable in solution and easily degrades spontaneously. Therefore, after a period of time or when cells grow poorly, a certain amount of L-Glutamine needs to be added to the culture medium to meet the needs of cell growth.
Precautions
1. This product is sterilized by 0.22μm filtration
2. When using this product, pay attention to aseptic operation to avoid contamination
3. This product is a 200mM concentrate. Please dilute it as needed before use
4. It is not suitable to be placed at room temperature or stored at 4℃ for a long time
5. It is normal for the solution to become emulsion after thawing at 2℃~8℃. This is because L-glutamine is affected by temperature and its solubility is reduced and precipitated. Wipe the surface of the solution with 75% alcohol, shake it well, and put it in a 37℃ incubator for 30 minutes to 40 minutes to dissolve until it is clear and transparent. Finally, shake it well for use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing during use. It is recommended to store it in small quantities.
